M & A has solidified its leading-edge position in the entrepreneurial community through various public events. Listed below are past and upcoming events organized, hosted or sponsored by M & A.
PAST EVENTS:
BBX / Nasdaq Conference (June 2002) – M & A hosted representatives of Nasdaq from Washington, D.C. at the first–ever forum in North America to review the merits of the proposed Bulletin Board Exchange (which was intended to replace the OTC BB). M & A gathered over 300 clients, associates and industry figures to review the proposed BBX, with participants from throughout the US and Canada.
Credit Union Central of B.C. Annual General Meeting (April 2005) – Goossen & Farrell Associates, a division of M & A Capital, was responsible for providing the keynote address at the Annual General Meeting of the Credit Union Central of B.C. Larry Farrell delivered his message to approximately 300 people on “Growing your credit union in the 21st Century.”
Entrepreneur Forum (October 2005) – M & A was a lead sponsor of an entrepreneurial forum along with the School of Business, Trinity Western University that was attended by approximately 250 entrepreneurs, students and alumni. The focus was to launch a book on entrepreneurship and the keynote speaker was Larry C. Farrell, Chairman of The Farrell Company of Staunton, VI.
Getting Entrepreneurial! Seminar (March 2006) – M & A was a sponsor along with the School of Business, Trinity Western University, of a “Getting Entrepreneurial! Seminar” based on the methodology of The Farrell Company. This teaching content has been delivered to approximately one million people worldwide. This over-subscribed full day seminar was focused on entrepreneurial growth strategies.
The Entrepreneur Forum, Silent Auction and Book Launch (Novmeber 2006) – M & A was a sponsor along with BC Business Magazine, Raymond James, Palcore, Raymond James, Apex Communications, Roy’s Copier Service, affin1ty, Exan Group, Moneris Solutions, Chase Office Interiors, and the Trinity Western School of Business. This event was attend by over 300 entrepreneurs, students and alumni. The foucus of this event was on the “call” of the entrepreneur. Funds raised from the silent auction were used to further the entrepreneurship program at the Trinity Western School of Business.
